It is a well known fact that getting enough quality sleep is a major pillar to our health and wellbeing. A lack of sleep can increase the risk of life threatening diseases such as heart attacks, and strokes and can also increase the incidence of accidents (it is said that a sleep deprived person drives as dangerously as a drunk person). It can also affect our memory, contribute to anxiety and depression and even make us put on weight, in addition to ageing our skin!
All good reasons to make sure we do all we can to get a good nights sleep.
We will be joined by Sleep Guru, Alison Francis (aka Anandi) who will uncover the main mistakes we make when it comes to our sleep hygiene. Anandi will help us understand what is the optimum amount of sleep we need, what is the difference between poor and quality sleep, and will give us an introduction to what we can do to improve our sleep.
If you found our event or recording of benefit and would like to help us continue to bring you these free weekly Wellbeing At Home Sessions, support us with a contribution. There are suggested amounts for the contribution or choose how much you would like to pay. Thank you

Another fascinating topic. And interesting to hear the connection into Ayurveda. I've had much better quality sleep through the last year so perhaps my circadian rhythms are now in much better shape without the 6.30am alarm ringing and waking when my body is ready ... just a very short commute these days to my work laptop! Will be interested to hear about the three week course, seems like an opportunity to learn more about about the sleep topics discussed in this session and how to deal with the middle of the night waking which still sometimes happens. Thank you Stella & Alison.

Sleep
This was a great topic, thabk you for organising Stella. Really enjoyed drawing on Anandi's wisdom which is based on so many systems, ie ayurveda, yoga, circadian rhythms and their impact. Great to pool all that information into an hours advice. Thank you 🙏👌
