Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese practice of movement which is often referred to as a moving meditation. It is an easy and accessible form of exercise that combines the breath with a precise set of movements, and when practiced frequently is believed to cultivate your Qi (pronounced Chi) which is your vital life energy. What is life energy?...well think about your life force, the energy you get when you are in balance, happy, healthy and motivated. A consistent practice of Qi Gong can help you improve your joint flexibility, muscle strength and manage tension and anxiety.
During our event Gill will take us through a Qi Gong routine that will help release stress and bring you a renewed sense of rejuvenation.

By the end of this event I felt as if I'd shifted my energy and got my circulation going especially in areas where I get a lot of tension such as neck and shoulders.

All these events on Wellbeing at Home are really wonderful and can introduce you to new practises and or reinforce existing ones. Gills Chi gong session was really relaxing and uplifting / energising and could really feel the energy buzzing around me during and after the session. Thank you so much as ever.

Excellent session thank you. I love Qigong and Gill is great at explaining the moves, what organ they are linked to, and how to breath with each move. Extremely relaxing slowing your breath, but energising at the same time. I look forward to future sessions.
