MEET THE EXPERTS
Growing up in Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe, Colin spent much of the time under the African sun engaged in physical activities: running, playing rugby, squash, tennis. And so he continued after arriving in the UK in 1975. The inevitable stress on his back led to occasional visits to an osteopath who, in 2001, recommended that Colin add a further activity as a counter-balance: Yoga.
Colin’s interest in yoga developed steadily and in 2007 he returned from a life-changing retreat in Marrakech keen to enhance his practice. In 2008 he undertook a Kundalini Yoga teacher-training course and very quickly began to teach various classes.
The busy-ness and challenges of working as a financial planner have given Colin first-hand experience of the need for a practical tool to enable us to counteract stress and remain focused and calm in the midst of the challenges we face in these changing times.
