HOLISTIC HEALTH

Modalities to maintain health and treat ailments have been around for thousands of years with each region of the planet creating their own unique form of health systems. Our sessions will explore a variety of ancient health systems such as traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurvedic medicine from India. We will also look at more recent western systems such as naturopathy, herbal medicine and homeopathy.  These systems are seeing a recent resurgence as people are looking towards preventative health methods as prevention is always better than the cure. Reliance on pharmaceutical medication with its associated side effects is best avoided where possible so learning the wisdoms of holistic health systems to lead a healthy life is a positive step in the right direction.
