MOVEMENT

The benefits of exercise and moving your body cannot be overestimated. Exercise boosts energy,  improves mood and self-esteem, promotes better sleep and reduces your risk of major illness such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes and cancer by up to 50%.  As humans are bodies were made for moving and physical activity with our ancient ancestors hunting, escaping wild animals and labouring in the fields, but our modern lifestyle involves spending more than 7 hours a day sitting for work followed by relaxing in front of TV’s and computer screens.  It is important that we enjoy the exercise we do otherwise it becomes all too easy to neglect it and do too little. Our movement sessions will expose you to a variety of movement modalities from the ancient practices of yoga and Qi gong to more modern western approaches of fitness allowing you to pursue what you enjoy and feels right for your body. The more variety we have in the type of exercise we do the better so use our sessions to add to your current exercise repertoire.
